The Mission of ACAF systems, Inc.

  • Create a reliable system allowing our self-manufactured product line to be sold, installed, and serviced only by a rigorously selected, extensively trained, and specially licensed team of contractors.

The History of ACAF Systems, Inc.

Fire Protection Equipment

It was fate that led fire sprinkler contractor David Munroe to launch ACAF Systems, Inc. in 2006.

The Rhode Island native is well versed in the business of fire suppression. In 1981 he founded Midland Fire Protection.

A passion for fire safety runs in his large family: all three brothers are in the fire sprinkler business, and David’s wife Donna is vice president and treasurer of ACAF Systems, Inc.

Ironically, in 2004 David lost a prized pleasure boat due to a marina fire that cost the group of property owners nearly $3 million.

The traumatic event provoked David into thinking seriously about how to find a remedy for that type of fire hazard.

One thing led to another and after years of research and development, ACAF Systems, Inc. Compressed Air Foam fire suppression system was born.

I believe that Compressed Air Foam (CAF) is the next generation in foam fire suppression. Compressed Air Foam has proven itself as a superior fire-fighting agent in the fire service and it is time now for CAF to be recognized in fire protection and suppression. ACAF Systems, Inc. will be a leader in this effort by building the highest quality, most reliable Compressed Air Foam fire suppression systems.
